Jean on jean?

Lo he visto bastante últimamente en la blogsfera, jeans combinados con una camisa tejana... vamos lo que cuando éramos pequeñas era un pecado estilístico mortal! Las fotos de streetstyle me parecen ideales pero sigue pareciendo arriesgado en el día a día y me cuesta verme con ello. Hay todas las opciones, con shorts o pantalón largo, camisa cerrada hasta arriba o totalmente arriba... no existen reglas!

There are a lot of pictures around the blogsphere, jeans combined with a jean shirt... jean on jean... a terrible style mistake when we were little! Anyway I must say that while pictures of street style bloggers look amazing, I still find it too risky for my usual outfits. There are thousands of options, with shorts or long pants, closed up shirt or totally open... the main rule is that there are no rules!

Who's this girl: Shailene Woodley

Buscando fotos de vestidos de cocktail para el evento que tengo la próxima semana ví que una chica se repetía en muchas de las fotos que seleccioné. Es Shailene Woodley, yo al menos por el nombre no la reconocía pero la recordaréis como la hija adolescente de George Clooney en The Descendants. Me ha gustado su estilo sobrio, y con el punto de riesgo adecuado. Habrá que seguirle la pista!


Looking for cocktail dress' pictures for the event I have next week I realized that the same girl was on many of these pics. She is Shailene Woodley, personally I didn't recognize her name but you will probably remember her as the teenage daughter of George Cloneey in the film The Descendants. I like her sober style, very classy and with the adequate dosis of risk. I will follow her closely!

New York Tips

Este semestre he tenido la suerte de visitar dos veces NYC, la verdad es que me siento muy afortunada! La primera vez fue solo un fin de semana corto pero muy intenso, en pocas horas hicimos muchísimas cosas. Y en Semana Santa volví con toda mi familia a visitar a mi hermana, me sorprendió el cambio que se nota en la ciudad en un fin de semana cualquiera de Enero o en temporada alta turística! De todas formas es una ciudad impresionante, y una de las cosas preferidas para los "Newyorkinos" son los bares y restaurantes, existen miles de opciones, más clásicas americanas o sitios súper cool! Estos días he descubierto algunos sitios muy recomendables!


These last months I was lucky enough to visit NYC twice, I feel really fortunate! First time it was a short weekend but very intense, in few hours we did a lot of things (exhausting too!). And for Easter holidays I went back with my whole family to visit my sister, I was surprised by the change in the city from a normal weekend to high season holidays! Anyway New York is an amazing city, and probably one of Newyorkers preferred things are bars and restaurants, there are thousands, from classical American stuff to super cool places! These days I discovered some spots worth telling!

Graduation Ceremony

Dentro de un par de semanas, mi chico se gradúa y se celebra un convite por todo lo alto, totalmente a la americana, con las togas, birretes al aire etc! Y estoy en crisis total intentando decidir que ponerme! La elección no es fácil, elegante pero sin ir excesivamente arreglada, un color discreto pero bonito y favorecedor, un patrón adecuado para el tiempo loco que estamos teniendo últimamente... me he recorrido las tiendas en busca de inspiración y todavía no la he encontrado! Mi idea principal es un vestido manga tres cuartos con falda con algo de vuelo... alguna idea?


In a couple of weeks, my boyfriend will graduate from his MBA, and there will be a graduation ceremony like the American style, with the gowns and caps!!! And I am on a deep crisis trying to decide what to wear. It is not an easy choice, elegant but not too smart, discreet color but beautiful and flattering, and with an adequate pattern for the crazy weather we are having in Barcelona at the moment... I have gone through most of the shops looking for inspiration but I haven't found the right dress yet! My main idea is a long-sleeved dress with a full skirt.... any idea?
